Travis whilst he needs no introduction, is a shareholder in KOTNmedia whilst currently representing our country across all three formats of international cricket. Travis is also the current South Australian Redbacks and Adelaide Strikers Captain and has a great passion for cricket at a grass roots level and seeing the game continue to grow. Growing up in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, Travis plied his craft at the Craigmore
Cricket Club before moving to Tea Tree Gully District Cricket Club where he had great success as a junior. Travis is extremely excited about the APL and can’t wait for the games to get underway.
Matt is the Founder and Director of KOTNmedia which is a digital media and marketing company in South Australia who specialise in sport. Matt has played cricket his entire life playing representative cricket throughout his teenage years. Matt moved on to play for South Gawler Cricket Club in the Barossa Light & Gawler Association where he was able to achieve the ultimate success in A1 cricket. Unfortunately, business and football coaching don’t allow Matt to play as much as he likes these days but is still extremely passionate about the sport and being involved off field wherever possible. Matt is looking forward to being involved in the APL watching the competition succeed.
Corey Roberts is a director of Wealth Evolution, a financial planning business with offices in Adelaide, Sydney, Nuriootpa and Gawler. He grew up in the southern Barossa region and has played for Sandy Creek Cricket club for over 350 games, a triple premiership player and life member of the club. He is lucky enough to have a great family for support in wife Lee-Anne and boys Jasper, Hudson and Kade whom all enjoy a Christmas beach cricket session to hone their skills.
“When I heard there was an opportunity to have a team from the Barossa in the Adelaide premier league, I jumped at it, I saw this as a way to bring more cricket to the Barossa region and expose more people to how beautiful the area is.”
Kurt Roberts currently works as a youth worker helping young people through life barriers and having worked as a Producer at one of the largest agencies in Adelaide. He now owns his own business as having produced numerous international award winning short films and web series. Kurt has also recently published his first children’s book.
He grew up in the Barossa area and has played cricket for Sandy Creek for over 20 years as both a junior and senior player. In that time, he has become a premiership player, chairman and life member of the cricket club.

Mark Horsburgh along with his wife Samantha is a director of GJ Gardner Homes, a residential building company based here in the Barossa. They have two children Riley and Holly and they have been locals to the area most of their lives.
Mark has played cricket both in Australia and overseas before choosing Sandy Creek Cricket Club to play out his career. He now enjoys watching his kids play and loves the community that surrounds sport in the Barossa Valley.
The opportunity to be involved in an elite cricket competition within our state and more locally the Barossa Crushers will be a huge step forward to allowing us to not only promote the game in our area, but to showcase the talent we have in the beautiful Barossa Region.
Damian McGee is sole director of the Exchange Hotel located in Gawler. As a Gawler local he is well established in the local business & sports community including being the current President of the Gawler & Districts Tennis Association.
Damian has strong cricket links in the community being long time major sponsor of both Willaston & Sandy Creek cricket clubs taking a keen interest in the growth of both organisations. Married to a netball mad wife, Jessica, and with young daughter Pippa who is also on her journey into a sport’s mad family.
